I painted "Magical Sky Above the Gatineau Hills" in remembrance of my childhood and teenage years in Northern Ontario. This painting is an exaggerated stylized impression of the movement and colours of the fabulous northern lights Aurora Borealis that I saw and marvelled at as a boy.
